Profile
Williams, arguably the most talented player in the 2011 Draft Class, has seen his stock skyrocket over the last 6 months. Once considered a fringe first round talent, he's now seen as a clear cut Top 2 pick. As an offensive player, he's the complete package, demonstrating efficiency from behind the arc (56.8%), the ability to score in the post and finish around the hoop, as well as being able to take his defender off the dribble. He's got a high basketball IQ and operates very fluidly with the basketball in his hands. At 6"8, he'll be an undersized PF at the next level and could struggle on the boards as a result. Also, despite having an excellent inside/outside game, his mid range shot leaves a bit to be desired, although one would think it will surely improve. Williams will be off the draft board very early this June, and his unique skillset will certainly cause plenty of headaches for opposing coaches and players beginning next season.
