Though his hitting isn't quite where it needs to be, Lindor is among the most polished defenders out there. With plenty of room to still grow frame-wise (he is still just 17), he is a first-round prospect with good bat control from both sides of the plate. He doesn't project as a power-type, but his slick fielding, strong arm, and line-drive stroke are what have many talent evaluators high on him. He has good speed although he's not a burner, and he raised plenty of eyebrows by winning the 2010 Aflac All-American Home Run Derby despite hitting just one home run that season.
