Jake Locker, QB, Washington
Information
Year: Senior
Height: 6 ft 3 in
Weight: 230 lbs.
School: Washington
Birthday: June 15, 1988
Profile
Locker seems a lock to be the one of the top quarterbacks taken in next year’s draft. He could have passed up his senior season to enter the Draft, but decided to give it one more go with Washington. Scouts seem to agree that Locker has the makings of a good pro quarterback, and returning to college likely has helped Locker develop even more. His arm strength is good, but not great. What Locker does possess is good athleticism and footwork, and also solid size. Like any young quarterback, decision-making is critical; Locker had 11 interceptions last year and six this year. It will likely come down to Locker and Luck as the top QBs taken, if Luck declares early.
