| Smith impressed a lot of scouts with his showing at the Combine, although many were already enamored with his size and athletic ability. There aren't many 6-2 corners and even fewer who can run like Smith does, but he didn't become a known commodity until recently because he played on a losing team at Colorado. He plays great in man-to-man coverage as he is able to jam receivers effectively at the line of scrimmage, but he tends to also be overly aggressive at times and bites too hard on play-action fakes. He has drawn comparisons to Nnamdi Asomugha and could end up being the first corner taken in 2011. |
