| Profile |
| Watt is considered one of the more polished players in this year's draft and is expected by many draft experts to land in New England because of his versatility and special teams savvy that make him the all-around player that Bill Belichick loves. He has good quickness and bull-rush ability but has virtually no experience dropping into coverage and sometimes fails to keep contained on the outside, meaning he is likely the best fit in a 4-3 on the end. Still, scouts believe his awareness and leadership can afford him the opportunity to be equally effective in a 3-4 scheme at the end position, which New England employs. He may also need to add some bulk to his frame, but he earned a lot of brownie points at the Combine with strong numbers. |
