Williams is coming off a productive freshman campaign and with the Terps top 3 scorers graduated, he will be asked to take on much more responsibility on the offensive end. He’s a bit undersized, but makes up for it with a soft touch around the rim and a high basketball IQ. Despite not having excellent athleticism, he runs the floor well and has great hands. He’s also dropped 20 pounds in the offseason, which should help him be more explosive and a bit more nimble on his feet. His lack of natural athleticism will turn some scouts off, but there are enough positives to makes Williams an interesting prospect going forward.
