Some scouts bemoan Gray's lack of size, but his electric arm is what really has talent evaluators excited. With a Tim Lincecum-like stature and a Roy Oswalt-like delivery, Gray has a fastball that consistently stays in the low 90's but can easily reach the mid-to-upper 90's. His slider is also a plus pitch, but some wonder if his future might be in the bullpen unless he develops a true third pitch, as his change-up is a work in progress.
